Nostalgic and fresh. Summery and powerful.

Juna are a four-piece pop-rock band from Wellington, and despite forming only recently, they’ve quickly become one of NZ’s most promising rising acts. They’ve supported Borderline on their NZ tour (Auckland & Hamilton) and pop artist Lily Linscott, played a triple headline with Imani-J and Dani Josie, and headlined San Fran with Lipstick and TWIAY.

Fronted by two powerhouse vocalists, Hannah and Max, Juna captivate audiences with their powerful lines and harmonies. Supporting the band are bassist Evie Patterson and Hayden Lam on drums, who also musically directs their live set. Juna take influences from artists such as The 1975, The Japanese House and Olivia Rodrigo to create a sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh, ‘summery’ and powerful.

They’ve also played multiple Wellington festival slots (CubaDupa, Gardens Magic) and built a following that stretches well beyond NZ across socials and Spotify. Consistent live shows and content creation have built a loyal following of over 15k on Instagram and over 1k on Spotify — remarkable momentum for a band barely a year old. Their debut single “Say So Little” has reached almost 50,000 streams worldwide.
